Striyd Terms of Use

1. General Agreement and Definitions

Welcome to the Striyd Service. By accessing our website, mobile application ("the App"), or any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, apply to all Users and Clients.

  • User: An individual evaluating our services or using the App for educational purposes.
  • Client: An individual who has registered an Account, provided KYC details, and funded the account for active investment management by Striyd.

2. Account Access, Security, and KYC

2.1 Eligibility: To become a Client, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into this legally binding agreement in Nigeria.

2.2 Registration and KYC: You must provide true, accurate, and complete information, including required regulatory data (e.g., BVN, government ID), for Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance.

2.3 Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials. You must notify Striyd immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Investment Services and Risk Disclaimer

3.1 Service Scope: Striyd provides automated, goal-based investment management. Our service is based on behavioral triggers (Round-Ups) and algorithmic portfolio construction.

3.2 Investment Risk: ALL INVESTMENTS INVOLVE RISK, INCLUDING THE POTENTIAL LOSS OF PRINCIPAL. The value of investments can fluctuate, and the performance of any portfolio is not guaranteed by Striyd. You acknowledge that you may lose money.

3.3 Past Performance: Any information provided regarding past returns or hypothetical performance is for educational purposes only and is **not indicative of future results**.

4. Prohibited Conduct and System Misuse

You agree that you will not engage in the following activities:

  • Fraud & Manipulation: Creating multiple accounts, transferring funds to exploit system rewards (e.g., referral bonuses), or any activity designed to manipulate investment outcomes.
  • FX Arbitrage: Using the Striyd platform solely for the purpose of profiting from fluctuating FX rates (round-tripping) without genuine investment intent.
  • Technical Interference: Attempting to probe, scan, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the security features of the App or website.
  • Unauthorized Content: Uploading or sharing content that infringes on third-party rights or violates applicable laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Disclaimer of Warranties: The App and all content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind. Striyd disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5.2 Limitation: In no event shall Striyd, its officers, directors, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App or your investment decisions.

5.3 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify Striyd fully against any liabilities, costs, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms.

6. Governing Law and Contact

6.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.

6.2 Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason, without notice.
